🔍 What Happened

  • Three intruders broke into her house early on July 20, prompting a resident to fire at them. The suspects fled, and no injuries were reported.

  • During the investigation, officers detected a strong odor of marijuana, leading to a search warrant.

  • Authorities found a significant amount of marijuana and a Schedule I controlled substance in her master bedroom closet.

⚖️ Charges & Legal Fallout

  • GloRilla (real name Gloria Woods) was charged with:

    • Felony possession of marijuana

    • Felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance

  • She was not home during the burglary or the search but turned herself in and was released the same day on a $22,260 bond.

đź—Ł️ Legal Response

Her attorneys argue she’s a victim, not a suspect:

“Instead of investigating the violent home invasion... law enforcement sought arrest warrants for her even though she hadn’t been at her home for some time.”

This marks her second arrest in Georgia—she was previously booked in 2024 for DUI.
