Elevating Audio Precision: The New DSP Software from Brax/Helix/Match

The world of car audio is constantly evolving, and the latest update to the DSP software from Brax, Helix, and Match is a testament to this relentless innovation. Let's dive into the new functionalities that are setting the bar higher for audio enthusiasts.

Cutting-Edge Features for Supreme Sound Quality

The new DSP software brings a suite of advanced features designed to enhance the listening experience:

- Input Signal Analyzer (ISA)

The updated ISA feature in the M FOUR DSP and M SIX DSP models addresses previous issues, ensuring a more accurate analysis of the input signal.

- Advanced Gain Setup

A 'Solo' function has been added to the Advanced Gain Setup, allowing for individual channel gain setups corresponding to the jumper positions.

- Speaker Categories

New speaker categories named 'Surround L' and 'Surround R' have been implemented, providing more options for sound staging.

- Quick Start Guides

The Help menu now includes ISA, ATM, and RTA quick start guides, making it easier for users to get started with the software.

Unprecedented Processing Power

The heart of the Brax DSP is its three Sigma350 series fixed-point 64 Bit audio DSPs, boasting a processing power of 3.6 billion MAC operations per second. This allows the system to run on a native 192 kHz sampling rate, extending the audio frequency range to 80 kHz.

High-Resolution Audio Conversion

The signal conversion is handled by Asahi Kasei "Velvet Sound" A/D and D/A converters with a native resolution of 32 Bit and a 192 kHz sample rate. These converters are known for their benchmark specifications, such as signal-to-noise ratio and total harmonic distortion, which are close to measuring limits.

Enhanced Connectivity and Control

- Wireless App DSP Control

The new software supports remote control of additional features such as volume control, source selection, tone control, and switching between sound setups via Android, iOS, and Web-App for all DSP devices with Advanced CoProcessor (ACO)

- Integration Features

The software includes integration features like power save mode for CAN vehicles or bypass circuits for diagnostic programs of some factory radios.

Conclusion: A Symphony of Technology

The new DSP software from Brax, Helix, and Match is not just an update; it's a revolution in car audio technology. With its powerful processing capabilities, high-resolution audio conversion, and enhanced connectivity, it offers an unparalleled audio experience. Whether you're an audiophile or a casual listener, these new functions are sure to impress and provide the ultimate in-car sound experience.
